Immaculate Heart Girls’ School continues to set the gold standard in nurturing a well-rounded girl child through a holistic education. While the institution remains rooted in academic excellence, spirituality, discipline, drama, and sports, it also celebrates feminine grace, intellect, and purpose through pageantry. Among the school’s most anticipated events is the illustrious Miss Immac Pageant, a function deeply cherished by students.

This prestigious tradition was initiated under the visionary guidance of Administration and the Patron of Clubs to groom all-rounded ladies through structured pageantry. The whole school embraced the concept wholeheartedly, leading to the introduction of multiple titles including Miss Immac, Miss Teen, Miss Environment, Miss Peace, Miss Health, Miss Mental Health, Miss Drama, Miss Environment,Little Miss Immac, and Melanin Queen, among others.

The impact of Immaculate Heart’s pageantry platform has extended far beyond the school gates. Alumnae have represented the school nationally and internationally with distinction. Isabella Nyangoma, the first Miss Immac, became Miss High School Uganda. Patricia, a former Miss Teen, emerged as First Runner-Up at Miss Teen Uganda. Cindy, crowned Uganda Miss Leos 2025, is an Immaculate alumna. Other shining stars include Josylin, Miss Ntungamo 2025; Jerusha Kusiima, First Runner-Up Miss Climate; and Zakia Lucky, Let Your Pearl Shine Queen. Notably, Dynavence Couture, a continental award-winning fashion brand, traces its roots back to Immaculate’s commitment to grooming excellence through fashion and pageantry.

Queens at Immaculate Heart are nurtured not only as beauty ambassadors but as agents of positive change. They enjoy privileges akin to student leaders and actively contribute to talent development, social etiquette training, health education, and environmental awareness. Their influence is real and far-reaching. For example, former Head Girl and now pageant emcee, Travis, has become CEO of Crystal Mind and Young Pageantry in Ntungamo District.

The Miss Immac Pageant is an annual highlight, drawing esteemed guests from diverse sectors—media, music, business, tourism, and national pageantry. Past events have hosted MC Ollo, CEO Tifah, MC Bavis, DJ Bruxx, Fik Fameica, Ray G, Vinka, and distinguished queens like Queen Mary Akol, queen Irene, Rebecca, Queen Restytuta, and Queen Hannah Kalema. These connections build vital social capital for the students and inspire dreams beyond the classroom.

This year, all eyes are on Miss Teen Queen Nabaasa Nicole Graciana, a dynamic and purpose-driven 17-year-old who is not only vying for Miss Teen Uganda 2025 but also has her sights set on Miss Teen Africa.

Nicole is a true embodiment of grace, intellect, discipline, and ambition. She currently serves as the Minister of Communication at school and is admired for her eloquence, humility, and smart public conduct.

Nicole is multi-talented. A natural leader and communicator, she has co-led school campaigns such as the Kavera Eradication Initiative and participated actively in road safety awareness during festive seasons. As a co-emcee, she charms audiences with her warmth and wit, making her a favorite among students of all classes.
Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her role as the young CEO of Blaxury, a brand that celebrates African identity and the beauty of melanin under the banner: Black is gold, black is a gem.

Hailing from Kabale, Nicole draws inspiration from her accomplished and principled parents—Mrs. Nabasinga Loyce and Mr. Kabaasa Bruce—and from her uncle, Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, who fuels her leadership aspirations. Her educational journey began at Kagalakwe Primary School, and her hobbies include public speaking, singing, writing, dancing, and emceeing.
Nicole’s list of role models reveals her thoughtful, globally-aware character. She admires Nobel Peace Prize laureate Wangari Maathai for her environmental activism, Queen Sylvia Nagginda of Buganda for championing girl child education, and armless pilot Jessica Cox for proving that physical limitations cannot hinder greatness. During the school’s Women’s Day celebration, Nicole boldly wore a shirt bearing Cox’s image, telling fellow students that “disability does not mean inability,” a perfect example of her motivational spirit.

In her aspirations, Nicole plans to become a dermatologist and dreams of launching a foundation to support street children, orphans, and other vulnerable youth in accessing education and dignified livelihoods. She is committed to building a world where no child is left behind.

Recognizing her potential, Headmistress Sr. Tumusiime Sabina has encouraged students and stakeholders to rally behind Nicole, describing her as “a voice of change and a worthy ambassador for our generation.” Her candidacy represents not just Immaculate Heart, but the dreams of countless Ugandan girls who believe in unity, quality education, justice, and empowerment.
Nicole travels to Kampala this year with her loving parents, pageantry mentor Madam Josephine, and designer Zakia Lucky, all determined to raise the national flag high. She stands as a beacon of hope and excellence.
