The sports department, guided by dedicated coaches and managers such as Ndiyo Maxima, Alex,Tumuhimbise Jilmy, Atamba G, and Nasasira Ezibon, continues to mould raw talent into refined excellence.

Senior five class 2026 has over 100 students of BCM and over 150 other science combinations. Literature class senior five has 94 students. The year 2025 UCE results from UNEB English was nationally ranked 2nd with 302As and literature the 7th. In UACE 2025 UNEB released results Literature was nationally ranked the 1st with 36 As Other subjects are also well done. The academic team does a role more than one imagines and thinks there is always a hand of God. This is due to good leadership of The head teacher Sr Tumusiime Sabina and her deputy Sr Naturinda Grace who are the excellent captains of the Immac Ship with the cooperative crew and ever assured of a safe landing on the shore.

The spiritual life of the school is firmly anchored under the guidance of the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Cleophas, alongside the Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel, lay chaplains Mubiru Moses,Prosper,kasibayo and catechists. A man of many talents and tireless dedication, he serves as patron to 23 clubs, the visionary behind the Miss Immac pageantry, a key promoter of Immac TV, and Head of the English and Literature Department. This team always gets absorbed fully in activities of department like internal seminar arrangements, debate, club activities, magazine and Calendar publication, writers Club’ activities among others. Truly, “hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”

Beyond the classroom and in conjunction with his team mates, he is a driving force behind school publications, media engagement, and the mobilisation of charitable initiatives that support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. His work reflects the noble truth that “to whom much is given, much is expected.” Clubs like Leos, Swas, Interact, Debate among others take up the call of charity outreach that has not left the community within and outside the same as it has been. The New Vision recognized his exceptional contributions among 488 competitors. On 18th March 2026, at a prestigious function held at State House Entebbe

—presided over by the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni, alongside ministers, government officials, including Hon C. Muyingo, Hon Moriku Kaducu, Com Kedrace Turyatemba and other, the media fraternity especially from the New Vision including The Manager John Erem, Don Wanyama,And other tall trees in the publication. The Ambassador of Ireland to Uganda, and other distinguished guests graced the Occasion.

Begura Richard emerged as 4th out of 488 in the National Best Teachers: Making a Difference awards.

He earned a well-deserved trip to Ireland alongside eleven other winners (the first six on merit and six sponsored by the First Lady), in addition to receiving a certificate, a cash prize, and a treasured gift for the school. Accompanied by the Head Teacher, Sr. Tumusiime Sabina

—the moment was crowned with joy as they reunited with an old girl of the school and celebrated the overall winner, Alice Birungi, Head Teacher of Bombo Army School.
