The Immac 2026 Prom, under the enchanting theme “Parisian Debonair,” was a breathtaking celebration that presented priceless elegance, excellence, and extraordinary refinement. The dazzling distinction of this remarkable occasion harmoniously blended with the school’s annual theme, “Year of Prime Performance.” Indeed, the event pushed the bar beyond its boundaries and created a new benchmark of glamour, creativity, and celebration.
Like a carefully crafted masterpiece, Parisian Debonair brought the spirit of French elegance closer to the heart of Rukungiri, proving that when vision meets commitment, extraordinary things are born. The journey towards this magnificent celebration commenced under the excellent organization and visionary guidance of the Headmistress, Sister Sabina Tumusiime, together with her Deputy, Sister Naturinda Grace.

The administration firmly believed that the outstanding candidates of Senior Four and Senior Six deserved a memorable celebration worthy of their discipline, commitment, and excellent conduct throughout their academic journey.
When the exciting news formally reached the Head Girl, Rennitah Naturinda, the School Council Chairperson, Arekaho Mary, and their entire cabinet and council, it was music to their ears. The announcement ignited enthusiasm, unity, and a shared determination to create an unforgettable experience.
Preparations gained momentum day after day, and every Tom, Dick, and Harry realized the importance of the occasion. Everyone joined hands and sang from the same hymn sheet, working tirelessly towards one magnificent goal.
The ladies formed a dedicated organizing committee, and preparations continued in full swing. Their vision was clear: to involve everyone and create a celebration that would remain a treasured chapter in the history of the school.
However, such excellence required sacrifice. The candidates had to contribute towards their dream, acquire glamorous attire, choose captivating fragrances, embrace elegant make-up, prepare attractive decorations, and provide sumptuous meals fit for the occasion.
With the support of the administration, the exposure of student leaders, and wise guidance from teachers such as Mr Musinguzi Michael, the writing was on the wall: where there is a will, there is always a way.
The committee members demonstrated remarkable intelligence, creativity, and commitment beyond ordinary imagination.
Parents and guardians fulfilled their noble responsibility by meeting the required contributions and supporting their daughters in acquiring elegant prom wear and accessories.
The magnificent gowns, latest fashions, and contemporary outfits reflected modern sophistication, guided by inspiration from former students, especially Dynna Ruvunza, the continental award-winning couture designer whose creativity celebrates diverse expressions of fashion.
On 20th June, the ladies, together with the Clubs and Entertainment Committee, organized a spectacular launch that marked a historic moment in the school’s journey.
It was the first event of its kind at Immac, executed with such creativity and surprise that it attracted admiration from the entire community. The launch was complemented by beautiful enhancements including the pavilion arrangement, impressive music setup, and professional hair styling.
The following day arrived as the long-awaited D-Day. It was greeted by a gentle sunrise beneath a clear firmament. To the students, it was truly a day the Lord had made, and they chose to begin it by glorifying Him.
Only the Senior Six candidates adorned themselves in beautiful cultural wear.
Holy Mass was respectfully and devotionally attended, celebrated by the school chaplain, Rev. Fr. Cleophas. Students, clergy, and staff members gathered in thanksgiving to glorify God for the gift of life, discipline, and the success of the learners.
The readings, preaching, singing, and thanksgiving were all exceptional. Everyone understood the deeper meaning behind the name Immaculate Heart — a school founded on faith, purity of purpose, and love of God.
After Mass, Senior Six candidates captured beautiful cultural moments for future memories.
The rest of the students captured video highlights of the colorful occasion. A special link video was created to allow friends, parents, and well-wishers from far and near to follow the events systematically.
The production was beautifully executed, earning appreciation for the excellent services of Brian from Kampala.
The grand moment of the Red Carpet finally arrived, and the magnificent procession began. The rest of the students stood in clear viewing positions like spectators in royal balconies, eager to witness every detail of the elegant entrance.
The staff members graced the occasion with their valued presence, a gesture that was received with thunderous applause. As the Headmistress and Deputy Headmistress officially opened the function, the entire venue was transformed into a world of excitement, celebration, and Elysian joy.
The search for the smartest and most elegantly dressed prom queens became a fascinating moment. It was a true battle of beauty, confidence, and style because every participant displayed remarkable elegance.
Choosing the finest among the finest was indeed a challenging task, but eventually, the deserving winners emerged triumphantly.
The Disc Jockey, Brux, perfectly understood the assignment. He kept the ladies entertained throughout the day with a remarkable selection of music that maintained the joyful atmosphere.
The Master of Ceremonies equally delivered beyond expectations, demonstrating professionalism, humor, and excellent coordination.
The gifting moment became one of the most touching highlights of the celebration. Class teachers, administrators, teachers who supported the planning process, and members of the organizing team were honored for their dedication.
Goats, bouquets of money notes, microwaves, and other valuable gifts were presented to class teachers. It was an emotional moment that reminded everyone that separation was approaching as students prepared to complete their academic journey.
Blessings, appreciation, and heartfelt wishes filled the atmosphere.
The moments inside the pavilion were filled with happiness and celebration. Refreshments including juice, soda, water, pizzas, apples, grapes, roasted muchomo, fruits, and other delicacies created a memorable dining experience.
The speeches were meaningful and precise. Everyone praised the organizing committee, administration, and service providers for their outstanding contribution.
Above all, the magnificent fashions worn by students stole the show. Every outfit reflected confidence, beauty, and elegance.
As the sun slowly descended towards the western horizon, its golden rays painted Immaculate Heart Girls School with a heavenly appearance. The beauty of the school campus stood out majestically, reminding everyone of the wonderful environment in which such memories were created.
After the official party, students enjoyed another unforgettable moment of celebration. They danced, celebrated their achievements, and congratulated one another for experiencing one of the greatest moments of their school life.
Joyful memories were preserved through beautiful group photographs that will continue telling their story for generations.
At the close of the day, the Parisian Debonair Prom was celebrated as one of the finest proms in the history of Immaculate Heart Girls School and among the outstanding prom celebrations of 2026 nationally, according to media recognition.
The elegance of Parisian Debonair had truly found a home in Rukungiri.
