Immaculate Heart Girls’ Nyakibale has once again stamped its authority in academic excellence, emerging as the top school in the Western Region in the 2024 UCE results. Despite its large enrollment, the school has upheld its culture of academic success, making top performance a consistent trend.

This outstanding performance has secured the school the 11th position nationwide and 1st in the Western Region, a position it has dominated for years.In the ranking of girls’ schools in Uganda based on the number of As, Immaculate Heart Girls’ School tops the list with 745 As, followed by Gayaza High School with 742 As, and Mount St. Mary’s College Namagunga with 701 As.
The Headmistress, Sr. Sabina, together with the students, expressed gratitude to God, attributing their success to His guidance.
They credited their excellent results to thorough preparation under the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC), which emphasized activities of integration, projects, CAI, and rigorous tasks, all facilitated by dedicated teachers. One of the top-performing students, Nankunda Kendra Kaks, scored 8As and 1B. She was overjoyed and full of gratitude to God, her teachers, and all school stakeholders for their support.
Kendra, who dreams of becoming a cardiologist, said: “This success is a dream come true.
