LEO’s Club of Immac Participates in International Diabetes Awareness Day
Under the guidance of Nasasira Eziborn, the Leo’s Adviser, Muramuzi Julius, the Leo’s Patron, Mercy Katushabe, and Tr. Kente, with leadership from Sr. Gladyce Kachope, the Headteacher, the Leo’s Club at Immaculate Conception School proudly joined hands with Lions International in the fight against diabetes.
One of the club’s core goals is to combat diabetes through advocacy and action. By organizing exercises as demonstrations, they aim to inspire the neighboring communities to adopt healthier lifestyles.
As part of the International Diabetes Awareness Day, the Immac Leo’s, who are affiliated with the Lions Club of Rukungiri, actively participated in the Diabetes Awareness Run.
