In a joyful and spiritually enriching ceremony, 44 students received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Nyakibale Catholic Parish. The holy occasion was presided over by the Bishop of Kabale Diocese, Rt. Rev. Callist Rubaramira, who encouraged the newly confirmed to remain strong in their faith and live out the values of the Catholic Church.
The event, marked by prayer, hymns, and celebration, brought together students, parents, teachers, and members of the parish community. Bishop Rubaramira, in his homily, emphasized the importance of the Holy Spirit in the lives of young Christians and the need to be witnesses of Christ in today’s world.
Gracing the occasion was our beloved Headteacher, Sr. Sabina Tumusiime, whose presence added great significance to the day. She was joined by Sr. Grace, the Deputy Headteacher, and Mr. Emmanuel Beinomugisha, one of the dedicated teachers who helped guide the candidates in their catechism classes.
The ceremony was a memorable milestone in the spiritual journey of the 44 students, who now step forward as full members of the Catholic Church, empowered by the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
